| The Cycling Interest Group organised and held a Tour De France Conference on |
| 6th July 2007 in Canterbury to coincide with the start of the Tour in London. In addition |
| to the excellent presentations from speakers including Prof Richard Davison, Dr Jim |
| Martin , Dr Conrad Earnest, Dr Jos de Koning and Phil White, there was a specific |
| session to develop ideas and themes that would form the basis for the First World |
| Congress on Cycling Science. |
| This Congress is hosted by Napier University, Edinburgh and will take place on 10-12 |
| June 2010. |
