16th FINA World Sports Medicine Congress
Manchester, UK 7-8 April 2008
The theme of this Congress was ‘Optimising Performance and Promoting Health’. Links
with WCSS are being forged for publicising the Proceedings. The congress focused on
optimising the performance of elite aquatic athletes of all disciplines utilising the latest
sports medicine and science opinion and research. It featured presentations by world
