4th International Congress on Science and Skiing
St Christoph a.Arlberg, Austria 14-20 December 2007
This congress was organized by the Department of Sport Science and Kinesiology
and the Christian Doppler Laboratory "Biomechanics in Skiing" of the University of
Salzburg. The scientific programme offered a broad interdisciplinary spectrum of current
research in Nordic and Alpine skiing and snowboarding and included 2 workshops, 82
oral and 76 poster presentations.
 
The Young Investigator Award, sponsored by the International Skiing Association FIS,
was a special congress attraction with 27 oral and 19 poster presentation submissions.
