| 4th International Congress on Science and Skiing |
| St Christoph a.Arlberg, Austria 14-20 December 2007 |
| This congress was organized by the Department of Sport Science and Kinesiology |
| and the Christian Doppler Laboratory "Biomechanics in Skiing" of the University of |
| Salzburg. The scientific programme offered a broad interdisciplinary spectrum of current |
| research in Nordic and Alpine skiing and snowboarding and included 2 workshops, 82 |
| oral and 76 poster presentations. |
| The Young Investigator Award, sponsored by the International Skiing Association FIS, |
| was a special congress attraction with 27 oral and 19 poster presentation submissions. |
